Meet Riley Chisholm

For Riley Chisholm, a career in the housing industry was always on the radar. Growing up with a long line of real estate agents in his family, he was immersed in the world of property and homeownership from an early age. However, Riley wanted to approach the industry from a different angle. He pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Management from Mount Saint Vincent University, developing a strong analytical mindset and a deep interest in finance strategy.

He then spent six years in building material sales, where he fell in love with new construction homes, the process of building dreams from the ground up, and establishing great customer relationships through high-level customer service. Team Leader Daniel Cox happened to be a customer of Riley's while doing work on his own home. Their conversations about the mortgage industry — and how it combines financial analysis with helping clients navigate life's biggest purchases — made complete sense to Riley.

Given his family background, his building material and customer service experience, and his business degree, he knew mortgage brokering was the perfect vehicle for his entrepreneurship.

Today, Riley uses that hands-on background to dig into the numbers for his clients, breaking down the complexities of the mortgage process to deliver clear, practical financing solutions for home buyers. And of course, he especially enjoys helping clients navigate the unique world of new construction.

When he’s not working for his clients, Riley is incredibly active in the community. You can find him coaching local Peewee and Bantam football, attending church weekly, hitting the gym, or playing golf, basketball and tennis. On the weekends, he loves heading to the beach, relaxing at the cottage, and exploring hiking trails with his Sheltie, Ranger.
