Meet Larry MacDonald

Born and raised on the rugged island of Ramea, Newfoundland and Labrador, Larry knows what it means to be part of a tight-knit community. After more than 26 years in the Canadian Armed Forces, he brought that same sense of dedication and discipline to a new mission: helping people navigate the path to homeownership.

Now based in Corner Brook, Larry is more than just a mortgage broker — he’s an active part of the community he serves. He’s the Services Officer at the local Legion, helping fellow Veterans with their claims and staying connected to the broader network. He’s also part of the Men’s Friendship Circle, where he supports land stewardship and community connection through Mi’kmaq teachings. And each year, you’ll find him volunteering with CB Nuit, helping transform West Street into a lively, art-filled celebration of local creativity.

These experiences give Larry a rare ability to relate to people from all walks of life. He takes the time to listen, understand what’s really important, and help clients make informed, confident choices about their mortgages. With a strong sense of integrity and a lifetime of service behind him, Larry brings heart, clarity, and calm to the sometimes complicated world of home financing.
