Meet Jackie Cruickshank

Jackie made the move into the role of Mortgage Brokering because she recognized the changing times and how important housing is in people’s lives. In a world where the essentials matter more than ever, she is passionate about helping clients navigate one of the biggest financial decisions they will ever make. She takes pride in uncovering options clients may not know are available, while making the mortgage process clear, comfortable and manageable.

Jackie entered the financial industry in 2008, building her career around helping people create more stable and independent lives. She began as a financial coach, working with families and households who wanted to get back on their feet, reduce debt and confidently prepare for the future.

Her professional background also includes supporting local businesses through one of the most challenging periods in recent history. During the pandemic, Jackie worked as an independent consultant focused on business retention and sustainability, particularly in the tourism and hospitality sectors. She helped businesses adapt to changing realities, find new ways to operate and stay afloat during uncertain times.

Jackie believes strongly in giving back to her community. For the past two years, she has volunteered with an animal rescue organization and provides home-care work once a week for people who need extra support. Outside of work, she is a proud mom to two brilliant daughters who keep her inspired and motivated.

At the heart of everything Jackie does — is kindness. She believes in treating people with respect, keeping an open mind and never judging a book by its cover. She knows everyone has something valuable to offer, and that compassion can go a long way.
