Meet Clive Dsouza

Clive Dsouza’s path to mortgage brokering started with the search for a new challenge. With a background in childcare and a BA (Hons) in Psychology from Saint Mary’s University, Clive has always been drawn to understanding people and helping them reach their potential.

In a recent role, Clive had to learn the ins and outs of eight different children’s programs — each with its own needs, goals, and approaches. One day, his partner pointed out that mortgage brokers do something similar: match people with the option that truly fits their situation. That simple comparison stuck with him. After doing some research, Clive realized the work lined up perfectly with his love of problem-solving and his interest in how complex systems fit together.

That same curiosity now guides the way he supports clients. Whether it’s helping someone secure their first mortgage or navigate alternative lending, Clive is passionate about helping people understand their financial potential. His psychology background brings empathy to every conversation, and his problem-solving mindset ensures no detail gets overlooked.

Outside of work, Clive spends time with his four cats, cheers with Halifax Cheer Elite, plays video games, and dives deep into music — proudly, and unapologetically, as a Swiftie.
